We have temporarily closed our physical CASC gallery spaces, to support efforts to contain and delay the spread of the Covid-19 virus, following advice from Public Health England and the University of Chester.


If you are passing the CASC, Chester city centre gallery, in the Forum Shopping Centre, you will see work from 2nd year students studying on the seven BA (Hons) programmes within the department of Art & Design, at the University of Chester.


Whilst our physical spaces are closed we have been working hard to develop a number of virtual gallery spaces and will be delivering a range of online  exhibitions in the coming weeks and months.

CASC is proud to present two exciting exhibitions: Alien Resident; San Diego Photographs 1986-1987, 35mm black and white photographs from Stephen Clarke’s archive of the time he spent as a resident in San Diego, and Marie Duval: Laughter in the Age of Leisure, Simon Grennan’s curated illustrations from Victorian London cartoonist and actress Marie Duval.
